(April 22, 2019) Melissa Darling, community recreation manager of Morale, Welfare and Recreation Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, cuts cake for families attending a ribbon cutting marking the opening of a remodeled playground at Costen-Turner Memorial Park located on Ault Field. The remodeled playground is due in part to a Commander, Navy Installation Command funded grant specifically designated to improve playground structures that had become obsolete.
