Cadets with the ROTC Northwoods Battalion, which is centered at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, complete live-fire weapons training April 6, 2019, at Fort McCoy, Wis. Numerous cadets with the battalion completed field training at Fort McCoy from April 5-7. The battalion regularly comes to the installation for training opportunities. Though the battalion is centered at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, it also includes ROTC cadets at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
