(April 25, 2019) Jon Kershaw, from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), discusses Android Tactical Aid Kit (ATAK) operations with an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician during the Navy Expeditionary Combat Enterprise (NECE) Board of Directors (BOD) visit to EOD Training and Evaluation Unit 2 aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. ATAK, used for dismounted situational awareness and friendly forces tracking, provides real-time information dissemination to the warfighter. NECE BOD, chaired by Rear Adm.
