Engineman First Class Miguel Santiago, assigned to USS Barry (DDG 52), reviews an Engineering manual before a simulated engineering casualty during Barry’s recent fast cruise. A fast cruise consists of equipment tests, simulations, and scenarios that refresh and train Sailors for underway periods.
