Palauan law enforcement officers and Soldiers from 2nd platoon, A Company, 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division train side by side at a new 25-meter flat range at a training area in the outskirts of Koror, Palau April 18, 2019 during Exercise Palau. Although not training together, the Palauans and Americans both made use of a range that was built in cooperation between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) and Palauan security officials. Exercise Palau is part of Pacific Pathways, an annual USARPAC operation, demonstrating the U.S. Army’s commitment to the Palau nation, and security cooperation for a free and open Indo-Pacific. The exercise will run from the 13th - 19th, and will include several security cooperation training events as well as community and animal health outreach services at several sites including Koror, Peleliu and Angaur.
