TRÓIA, PORTUGAL (April 11, 2019) – A simulated rioter is detained by a Portuguese Fuzeleiro during a simulated riot at a Non-Combative Evacuation Operation training exercise during Instruction Exercise (INSTREX) in Tróia, Portugal, April 11, 2019. Elements from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are participating in INSTREX in order to sustain combat readiness, execute amphibious operations, demonstrate interoperability and continue a strong partner relationship with our NATO ally.
