Led by Master Sgt. Jamie Ramirez, 38, S-1 chief, Regimental Combat Team 6, from Los Angeles, Calif., personnel and administration Marines conduct a “moto” run. They carry two 30-pound sandbags and mock weapons while running, and the sand bags are passed from one Marine to another during the run. Even when deployed physical training is a huge part of being a Marine, they pride themselves on endurance, strength and toughness. Whether carrying 70 pounds of gear on the march or completing a 10-mile conditioning run, Marines give everything they have into staying in shape.
