190429-N-CL027-1132 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Apr. 29, 2019) Sailors place the aircraft barricade ramps on the flight deck aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during certifications. The barricade is a large net that is set to catch aircraft during emergency landings. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
