A U.S. Soldier assigned to the 62nd Engineers, 104th Engineer Construction Company, from Ft. Hood, Tx., uses a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) to pull debris (including vehicles and downed utility poles) from a road at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Indiana, during Guardian Response 19, a homeland emergency response exercise which tests the ability of the military to respond to a man-made or natural disaster on April 30, 2019. The Soldiers are responding to a city following a mock nuclear detonation, so they must don gas masks and protective equipment while working. (U.S. Army photo by Master Sgt. Brad Staggs)
