Soldiers with the 104th Engineer Company, 62nd Engineer Battalion, from Ft. Hood, Tx., prepare to use Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) to pull a vehicle from a road at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Ind., during Guardian Response 19, a homeland emergency response exercise which tests the ability of the military to respond to a manmade or natural disaster on April 30, 2019. The Soldiers are responding to a city following a mock nuclear detonation, so they must don gas masks and protective equipment while working.
