(April 2, 2019) Aviation Electrician’s Mate 2nd Class Michaela Zadra, a member of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 22’s quality assurance division, discusses the 84-day corrosion inspection with Aviation Structural Mechanic Safety Equipment 1st class Preston Clary, quality assurance lead petty officer for VFA-22. VFA-22 was the first squadron at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., to implement operational reforms as part of the Naval Sustainment System by reducing the inspection from 10 days to three days.
