U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Robert McLellan commanding officer of 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion (2nd CEB), 2nd Marine Division, places a dog tag on a Marine before beginning the Sapper 50 race, on Camp Lejeune N.C., May 3, 2019. The Sapper 50 is a memorial run in remembrance of the 29 combat engineers that gave their lives during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
