Guardian Response 19 is a joint, multi-component training exercise controlled by the U.S. Army Reserve 78th Training Division and includes more than 9,000 service members from across the country. The exercise tests the ability of the U.S. military to respond to a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear catastrophe as part of the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) program.
