Capitán de Corbeta Colombiano (Colombian Navy Lt. Cmdr.) Juan Felipe Londoño Arango and Capitão de Corveta Brasileiro (Brazilian Marine Maj.) Luiz Roberto Dos Santos Carneiro Junior, rest with U.S. Marines from Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command during a six-mile hike at Landing Zone Egret on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 26, 2019. Foreign officers are included in their training events and operations to build and strengthen partnerships with other countries. The Marines and Sailors of SPMAGTF-SC will be conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America during their deployment.
