Sgt. Viktoriya Varpakhovich, a human resources specialist for the 408th Human Resources Company based in Fort Totten, N.Y., embarks on a seven-mile road march near Davidson Airfield as part of the brigade-level Best Warrior Competition at the John S. Mosby Reserve Center Feb. 25. Varpakovich, a Brooklyn native, placed second in her division and finished fourth over all.
