The Essential Service Team For the 256th Brigade Combat Team is currently overseeing 162 projects which are spread throughout the 3rd Infantry Divisions Area of Operations. With the help of 2nd Brigade of the 10th Mountain Division, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment and C Co of the 4-43rd Civil Affairs Battalion, they are able to help the Iraqi people with the funding and any other necessities that are critical for the mission at hand. The four major areas that Iraq is in need of is in electricity, water, sewage, and trash. With these problems at hand, the 256th EST is making substantial progress to fix these problems and by tasking asking different units within the joint task to oversee and provide security to the local contractors by conducting daily project assessments at the sites. With the help of this team many Iraqi people will have the daily necessities that are often taken for granted by people.
