Caroline, a young passenger, and her family flew with the 21st Airlift Squadron on a space available hop May 3, 2019, from Travis Air Force Base, California, to Seattle, Washington. The 21st AS traveled to Seattle, Washington, for the Alaska Airlines Aviation Day. More than 800 students were able to interact with the 21st AS crew members while touring the C-17 Globemaster III with the overall mission of inspiring youth to pursue potential careers in aviation and aerospace.
