Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Alecia Velazquez, assigned to Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton (NHCP), uses an automated medication dispensing system while working in the family medicine clinic. NHCP is one of ten military treatment facilities overseen by Navy Medicine West (NMW). Throughout the region, NMW provides medical care to nearly 700,000 beneficiaries throughout the West Coast of the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific. Globally, NMW oversees eight research laboratories that deliver research expertise in support of warfighter health and readiness.
