Lance Cpl. Edgar Lima, a sweeper with 2nd Squad, 1st Platoon, Lima Company, scans the area for improvised explosive devices while patrolling in Wishtan, Feb. 22. Lima, a graduate of Mission Bay High School in San Diego, is currently deployed with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment. On one occasion, Lima helped identify a 40-pound improvised explosive device with 39 sticks of dynamite.
