Six-year-old Elliot Tick watches as an airman reads a book to her and her classmates at St. Andrews Elementary School in Charleston. Members of Joint Base Charleston - Air Base, S.C., came to the school to read to the children as part of Read Across America Day, March 2. The reading celebration is the largest reading event in the nation and occurs each year on or around the birthday of Dr. Seuss.
