A Camp Pendleton Marine hurls a Frisbee disc toward opponents during kickoff, also known as a “pull,” during the 2012 Pendleton Cup Ultimate Frisbee Tournament at the Naval Hospital Football Field, Feb. 29. The seven-on-seven player game combines constant sprinting, jumping, passing and catching with the main objective being to pass a plastic Frisbee disc, moving it from one end of a 40-yard playing field to the other, eventually scoring by passing the disc to a receiving teammate positioned in the opposing team’s 25-yard end zone.
