LANSING, Mi. Task Force 46 prepares a Lockheed C-130 Hercules for the loading of personnel, and a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) in part of U.S. Army North's Vibrant Response exercise. Vibrant Response 19 (VR19) is an exercise linked to Guardian Response 19 (GR19) where about 3,500 personnel will train in aviation, medical, engineering, logistics, and other life-saving tasks. Their exercise features realistic venues and civilian role-players to simulate a demanding disaster environment under the guidance and direction of the task force commander. VR19 helps participants exercise command and control in a realistic, challenging environment.
