190510-N-NB178-1002 TUY HOA, Vietnam (May 10, 2019) Royal Navy Capt. Paddy Allen, director of mission, Royal Australian Navy Capt. Brendon Zilko, mission command staff officer, and U.S. Navy Capt. Christopher Sharman, Navy Attache to Vietnam, enjoy a musical performance at a cultural exchange at Phu Yen University, fostering lasting bonds of friendship and trust during Pacific Partnership 2019. Pacific Partnership, now in its 14th iteration, is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Pacific. Each year, the mission team works collectively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase stability and security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
