A member of the 7th Special Forces Group, based out of Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., instructs soldiers of the Guyana Defense Force, commonly known as the GDF, on the proper way to use a simulated M-4 rifle during a weapons familiarization class March 3 at Camp Stephenson, Guyana, outside of the capital city of Georgetown. The training event is in support of Exercise Fused Response 2012. The joint exercise is being conducted by the Guyana Defense Force, along with members of Special Operations Command South, which is serving as the U.S. Southern Command's lead agency for this event.
