Catherine Bayne, the junior and senior nurses at Navy Medicine West (NMW), cut a cake in honor of National Nurses Week, which begins each year on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday. NMW provides medical care to nearly 700,000 beneficiaries throughout the West Coast of the U.S., Asia, and the Pacific.
