Senior Airman Kayla Morales, a dental assistant assigned to the 628th Aerospace Medical Squadron, decontaminates herself during an exercise May 9, 2019, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. The 628th Medical Group conducted a joint certification course, including an intensive patient decontamination exercise, to prepare Air Force medical responders to save lives, provide shelter and protect facilities in times of crisis. The exercise was conducted to train and prepare members of the 628th MDG and to maintain a first-response team ready to confront chemical related emergencies.
