Soldiers of the 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command salute the colors during a change of command responsibility ceremony at the Capt. Nelson M. Holderman Hall Army Reserve Center, March 3. During the ceremony, Brig. Gen. Therese M. O’Brien assumed command of the 311th ESC from Brig. Gen. Juan A. Ruiz, the outgoing commander, and became the 21st commanding general of the 311th ESC and the first female general officer to assume command of the unit.
