Soldiers convert machine readable numbers to human readable numbers on day one of the CISCO Academy (Phase 1) class. The class is a two part course that is continued in Phase 2. Phase 1 consists of learning the Networking Fundamentals and Routing Protocols/Concepts portions of the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA Exploration curriculum. Upon successful completion, these Soldiers will receive an official Cisco Networking Academy Certificate of Completion. The prerequisites are basic computer skills and a basic understanding of networking.
