Aboard USS Constitution, Vice Adm. Paul Sullivan, commander of Naval Sea Systems Command, gives the final speech of his vigorous schedule of appearances and speaking engagements during Boston Harborfest 2007 and Boston Navy Week, July 4 Old Ironsides, the world oldest commissioned warship cruised from Charlestown Navy Yard to Castle Island for her annual Independence Day turnaround cruise where her gun crew fired a 21-gun salute to Fort Independence at the culmination of Boston Navy Week. The week is one of 26 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2007. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
