A pair of 2.75 inch rockets launch from a Task Force Saber, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade OH-58D Kiowa Warrior toward a mountain test site near Jalalabad, Afghanistan, March 2. Pilots use the area to ensure armament systems are functioning correctly before going out on reconnaissance and support missions. The OH-58 can carry a variety of weapons such as 2.75 inch rockets, hellfire missiles, or a .50-caliber machine gun.
