Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 23, embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, stand in formation across from U.N. soldiers from the Indonesian Military Engineering Contingent during a recognition ceremony on the flight deck of Swift. The ceremony honored the Indonesian engineers and the Seabees partnership for their hard work and dedication in refurbishing the National School of Caracol and Dispensaire De Caracol in Caracol, Haiti. The engineers and Seabees were working on the school as part of a subject matter expert exchange. NMCB-23 is supporting Southern Partnership Station 2012, a deployment of U.S naval assets in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
