Airmen practice shoulder technique with their M4A2 assault rifles on Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., Feb. 27, 2012. There is an average of 14 to 18 individuals per class and three to five classes a week. The combat arms maintenance and training course lasts from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and trains between 3,000 - 4,500 Airmen per year.
