ATLANTIC OCEAN (May 17, 2019)- Maintainers assigned to the Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48 “Vipers” stow the stabilizer for an MH-60R on the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80), May 17, 2019. Roosevelt is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of exercise Formidable Shield 19. Formidable Shield is designed to improve allied interoperability in a live-fire, integrated air and missile defense environment using NATO command and control reporting structures.
