CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti - U.S. Army Capt. Ayub Laari, U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) chaplain, along with members of the religious affairs team from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and Camp Lemonnier, lead an Iftar on base, May 19, 2019. Iftar is the nightly meal that ends the day’s fast during Ramadan. Camp Lemonnier is an operationally-focused shore installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
