Gabreski Air National Guard Base, presented the first of four such aircraft that it is taking delivery of, Westhampton Beach, N.Y., May 17, 2019. The aircraft, dubbed the "Spirit of Long Island" is the first brand new aircraft the wing has taken delivery of directly from the manufacturer in it's 72 year history, and will be flown by the wing's 102nd Rescue Squadron, the oldest unit in the Air National Guard.
