Cpl. Jonathan T. Overland, a Camp Pendleton dog handler, poses with his military working dog, Cann. Overland and his companion placed Top Dog overall of an Iron Dog competition. On Feb. 19, Overland competed with other Marines in a mile-long obstacle course that challenged each pair's true connection while testing each dog's obedience, endurance and detection abilities.
