U. S. Marines with Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, currently attached to 4th Marines under the Unit Deployment Program, conduct tactical combat casualty care during the fourth station of their warrior challenge on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, May 23, 2019. TCCC training teaches Marines a variety of lifesaving skills in a realistic scenario, so that they are fully prepared to perform casualty care in a real situation. Marines conducting a warrior challenge must complete a series of physically demanding or technically challenging events as a way of reflecting upon fallen comrades through physical exertion.
