Staff Sergeant Alexander Bach, 232nd Medical Battalion, checks 1LT Elena Haymond’s blood pressure during the Subjective Objective Assessment Plan (SOAP) notes lane. Incorporating SOAP notes was a new lane in this year’s Trinity competition. This provided the competitors an opportunity to test their medical knowledge and patient observations in a more rigorous simulated field environment.
The annual Trinity Competition is a grueling, four day event to determine the division level Best Warrior, Drill Sergeant of the Year and Best Medic. Hosted by the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School, Health Readiness Center of Excellence, or AMEDDC&S HRCoE, winners will go on to represent the HRCoE in higher level competitions.
