The Make a Wish Foundation fulfilled Gaige's wish of being a U.S. Marine for a day by spending it with 1st LAR Bn., I MEF. 1st LAR Bn. hosted a grappling competition, had Gaige shoot various weapon systems at an ISMT, and finally, took him for a ride in a Light Armored Vehicle 25.
