    121st Air Refueling Wing

Tom Stevenson, son of Women Air Force Service Pilot Margaret Kirchner Stevenson, holds the famous image, Pistol Packing Mama, that his mother is in on the same flight line that the photo was taken on over 75 years ago. Stevenson attended the 121st Air Refueling Wing ceremony to unveil a memorial designed to pay tribute to the WASPS May 28, 2019, at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base, Ohio. Rickenbacker ANGB, then Lockbourne Air Force Base, was a B-17 Flying Fortress training location for female pilots, including Margaret Stevenson, from 1943 to 1944.
