U.S. Marine Corps Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) defense specialists with CBRN Defense Platoon, 1st Marine Division, conduct decontamination procedures at Guardian Centers training facility, Georgia, May 28, 2019. The exercise simulated an aircraft crash that was carrying radiological materials. The Marines were tested on their ability to detect hazardous CBRN material and operate in austere conditions including low light illumination and black flag weather conditions, or temperatures that exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
