1st Sgt. Shane Carvella, assigned to Team 1510, Alpha Company, 5th Battalion, 1st Security Force Assistance Brigade, explains his role and responsibilities as an advisor to multinational forces during exercise Allied Spirit X. Allied Spirit X includes approximately 5,600 participants from 15 nations, March 30 – April 17, 2019, at the 7th Army Training Command’s Hohenfels Training Area in southeastern Germany. Allied Spirit X is a U.S. Army Europe-directed, 7th Army Training Command-conducted multinational exercise series designed to develop and enhance NATO and key partner interoperability and readiness across specified warfighting functions.
