Marines and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force soldiers practice cross-country skiing at the Yausubetsu Training Area, Hokkaido, Japan, March 5, during Exercise Forest Light 12-2. The Marines and JGSDF soldiers spent hours practicing different techniques taught by JGSDF ski instructors.
