Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers from Bravo and Charlie companies, 3-116th Cavalry Regiment, 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, conduct armored troop leading procedures and dismounted infantry operations June 1, 2019, at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin California. NTC provides Soldiers in a combined armored battalion with experience training together across different weapons system platforms.
The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is training at the National Training Center May 24 through June 20 to prepare for its wartime mission. The rotation builds unit and Soldier proficiency to provide combatant commanders with a trained and ready force capable of fighting and winning our nation's wars.
