Oregon Army National Guard 11B Spc. Marco Hernandez, Charlie Company, 3-116th Combined Arms Battalion, 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team, conducts overwatch using the FGM-148 Javelin Portable Anti-Tank Missile system June 01, 2019, at the National Training Center at Fort Irwin California. Hernandez, an anti-armor specialist, said that he enjoys practicing his MOS in the field environment with other soldiers.
The 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team is training at the National Training Center May 24 through June 20 to prepare for its wartime mission. The rotation builds unit and Soldier proficiency to provide combatant commanders with a trained and ready force capable of fighting and winning our nation's wars.
