OKINAWA, Japan (June 3, 2019) Aircrew members assigned to Patrol Squadron (VP) 5 unveil Commanding Officer Cmdr. Carl White’s name on Aircraft 011 during the 68th change of command ceremony at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. VP-5 “Mad Foxes” are deployed to Kadena conducting maritime patrol and reconnaissance and theatre outreach operations within U.S. 7th Fleet (C7F) area of operations in support of Commander, Task Force 72, C7F and U.S. Pacific Command objectives throughout the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
