(June 3, 2019) Sailors assigned to Beachmaster Unit 1 guide a U.S. Navy landing craft, air cushion during a Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) training exercise at Sunset Beach. DSCA conducts training with the Armed Forces in order to provide response and recovery efforts to assist in missions normally carried out by civil authorities such as man-made disasters, law enforcement support, special events, and other domestic activities.
