Maj. Robert Mallett, lower left, Third Army intelligence officer in charge for Operational Maneuvers, Lt. Col. Wolgang Schwoeler, German air force officer, and Larry Przybyla, U.S. Central Command Air Forces air operations contractor, monitor battlefield progress during the Lucky Warrior exercise held from 20-25 August at Fort Gillem, Ga. The week-long exercise was held as preparation for Bright Star, the bi-annual multi-national exercise held in Egypt. Third Army hosted coalition representatives from Egypt, Germany, Jordan and the Netherlands as well as their joint central command counterparts from the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Special Operations.
