U.S. Navy Capt. Christopher G. Adams, assistant chief of staff, facilities and environment Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, is presented a gift after receiving his retirement certificate at the Marston Pavilion on MCB Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, on May 31. Adams was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal in recognition of his superb management of facilities at installations across the region especially during Hurricane Florence, one of the worst environmental disasters to impact the region in years.
