(June 04, 2019) Mr. Perry Yaw, left, a representative of Boeing and former commanding officer of Patrol Squadron (VP) 9 presents the Captain Arnold Jay Isbell trophy to Cmdr. Christopher Purcell, commanding officer of VP-4. The award recognizes the squadron throughout the Fleet that best demonstrates outstanding performance in the areas of anti-submarine warfare (ASW). This award is a testament to the achievements VP-4 has accomplished and its ability to maintain peak operational readiness.
